Class Structure for Young Minds
At Legacy Quran Institute, we make every 30-minute one-on-one online session engaging, interactive, and meaningful for young learners. Our carefully designed class structure helps children learn the Quran and essential Islamic knowledge in a friendly, encouraging, and enjoyable environment.
Warm Welcome & Revision — First 5 Minutes
Friendly Greeting & Interaction:
Each class begins with a warm “As-salamu alaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuh”, creating a welcoming and positive Islamic learning environment.
Student Check-in:
We take a moment to ask the child about their day, helping them feel comfortable and building a positive connection with their teacher.
Revision of the Previous Lesson:
We review the previous lesson using the recorded recitation provided for home practice. This helps reinforce learning and prepares the student for the new lesson.
Main Lesson — 20 Minutes
The main part of the session focuses on Quran learning, including accurate recitation, proper Tajweed, and memorization in an interactive and age-appropriate way.
After completing the Quran portion, students learn essential Islamic knowledge, including:
- Basic Islamic beliefs
- The Five Pillars of Islam
- Wudu and Salah
- Short Surahs
- Daily Duas
- Islamic manners and good character
- Inspiring stories from Islamic history
At the end of the lesson, the student’s Quran recitation is recorded and shared for independent practice before the next class.
Fun & Motivation — Last 5 Minutes
Interactive Islamic Activities:
We end each session with fun Islamic quizzes, games, and engaging activities to make learning enjoyable.
Rewards & Encouragement:
Children are motivated through fun challenges, virtual stars, and small rewards that encourage consistency, confidence, and enthusiasm for learning the Quran.
At Legacy Quran Institute, our goal is not only to teach children how to read and memorize the Quran, but also to help them develop a strong connection with Islam and grow with beautiful Islamic values.
Course Completion Certificate
“Upon successful completion of the course, students will receive a Certificate of Completion from Legacy Quran Institute as recognition of their learning and achievement.”
